At the simplest levels, the game consists in uniting the things in groups of three. This is what you do in all the levels. This does not mean that it is the only thing on which you should focus. Combine things in larger groups will get bricks special that you can use to get special effects. Some of the erase lines completely, other will trigger the bombs. Learn well the mechanisms to use them to your advantage. If you get two bricks, bonus, close, destroy them together to get great effects. The bricks that bonus must be of the same color.
The kitchen is where you'll create objects delicious. You can get the ingredients in various ways, but when you create objects you'll get extra prizes that will help you in the game. Check back often to see if you have all the ingredients to create something new. The Backpack is unlocked when you get more stars. It will give you lots of ingredients to play with in the kitchen. If you got only 2 stars in the previous levels, it is a good idea to go back and try again to obtain more.
You will gain special moves to use at the beginning of the game. Do not use it right away, instead keep them for when you have already lost a life on a level and you think you need help to finish it.
If you feel stuck on a level, it is time to stop and do something else. Back in the game later on and for sure you will, with a fresh mind, to pass the level.
Just because the game shows you a union, it is said that you should follow the advice. Look around and see if there is any combination that may be more useful to you.
Don't spend coins unless you are desperate. It is rare that the 5 extra moves to help you out in any way. If you are sure you can finish the level with them, is a foul, otherwise save the cash for when you really need it.
