Bayonetta 3 could be developed

Internal voices confirm that something is moving

Sourcegaming reports that Platinum Games wants to create a third Bayonetta game. Internal discussions are underway regarding how the game should be developed.

According to the rumors of Atsushi Inaba, of Platinum Games, nothing is currently being discarded, including whether or not to maintain the main protagonist. It might even be possible to have a male lead in Bayonetta.

We also have to remember, that Bayonetta 2 was also produced thanks to the push from Nintendo. The production rights are still held by Sega, so a potential third game has yet to be determined if it can be produced. In fact, even if it wanted, Nintendo could obtain a first refusal to the request for production of the third game.
