Link is stripped and deprived of all the items in its inventory, and will have to make do with the resources to be recovered on time. This time, however, we will have to overcome forty-five floors filled with enemies: the Test of the Sword is entirely focused on combat, and there are puzzles to spice up advancement. The journey, which progresses from plane to plane, is divided into three stages of varying difficulty; within each section, in plans without opponents, there is granted a few most effective weapon, even some armor and the ability to use a pot to cook the ingredients that have collected. Retrieve all of the resources hidden in the various 'stage' becomes so fundamental, so it is recommended that you face the test with an inventory-expanded (thanks to the Semi Koroks) and the maximum number of hearts available. Without these precautions the Test of the Sword it can be a challenge, also very complex, especially because an early death means having to start again the phase that we're facing. Since their completion can take a very long time, this choice seems pretty questionable: a series of checkpoints to be placed in the proximity of the 'pause' in the middle section would have made the prospect of a Game Over a lot less frustrating, without blunting too many difficulties, mainly linked to the complexity of some of the rooms.
